The Sunrise Secret
Sunrise saw the potential of gift cards as a loyalty play. They decided to distribute promotional cards on a customer’s first, second and third visits, as shown.
The cards serve as an impetus for new customers to return. There is no cost for Sunrise unless the customer visits and uses the card before it expires.
When customers redeem, they consistently spend more than the value of the promo card. And Sunrise has discovered that by the third visit, they have a loyal customer.
First visit:
